It’s the final “task” of our internship with KoLe Shikoku, Japan. This task is about whatever we experience as interns during this internship and I believe that there is no better way to do so other than demonstrating my experience through the concept of Instagram – the platform that we have been closely engaged in and developed from. Please enjoy reading ^^

2020 was difficult for everyone apparently, so was I. My oversea exchange and college studying got cancelled. Internships, side jobs, and personal projects went through ups and mostly down due to many reasons. Personal development and well-being did not happen as planned…
Yet, this internship opportunity came through like a dream – very uncertain in many aspects (we interns did not know which companies or positions we would be matched with beforehand) but perfectly beautiful as most dreams. The internship made up for my oversea exchange experience although it is virtual, fulfilling my wishes for 2020 in many ways:
*I’ve been able to intern with a company from East Asia and learn about their culture and working ethics.
*I’ve had the greatest internship instructor ever who created such an amazing environment for the to thrive, including wonderful internship schedule/trainings, wonderful support and guidance.
*I’ve also gotten to work with loveliest co-intern ever, Ly-san, who is very supporting and collaborative during our work process.
The visual of this image looks like a dream to me. So as this internship ^^ #oversea_internship #online_internship #wonderful_company #wonderful_instructor #wonderful_co-intern #ly-san. #nice_office #nice_internship_coordinator #jip #pasona

This image resembles our biggest promotional project during this internship. For the first half of our internship, we worked on producing Instagram posts (accompanied visuals included) in order to promote different aspects of KoLe Shikoku, Japan. I have had some experiences working with Instagram but I’ve never been able to accomplish so many things while working on such a project like this time:
*I’ve experienced the work flow as a marketer, who deliberately has to do extensive research and think strategically about what should appear in the campaign.
*I’ve been able to utilize my creative vision and execute certain visual style for this campaign, including Instagram’s feed arrangement, usage of specific tone and patterns within each images.
*I’ve also been able to practice photo editing/retouching in order to produce the visuals that met my creative vision.
This well-rounded long-term promotional campaigns has certainly enhanced my expertise learning experience during this internship, which indeed exceeded my expectations for this program. #work_flow_as_a_marketer #research #strategic_thinking #creative_thinking #creative_concept #specific_visual_style #elegant_feeling #human_presence #abstract_patterns

The paid advertisement task was the climax of what we had built up in the first part of our internship, which required us to employ what we had tested, learned and practiced while working on producing promotional posts on Instagram.

Besides promoting KoLe’s service on Instagram, we as interns also had to promote the international internship component of KoLe Shikoku, Japan to our future potential interns.

The last component of our internship is to write a daily blog for most of the days during our program. This “task” feels more like a time for self-reflection to me. Also, these daily blogs provide chances for me to connect to my instructor, Satoko-san, and my co-intern, Ly-san, since I’m able to ready their comments or blogs on our website.
Other than that, now looking back at what I put on (not in terms of writing because it’s has already been written – please read my daily blogs here but visual-wise), I realize that I tended to take pictures of #cool_things #in_the_office, #stationery or #gifts #on_my_table, and also my #SNACK #drink #chocolate #tea #matcha #coffee (of course, because I’m a #foodie).
